SYNOPSIS
"You [Romance]" is Ukraine's first original historical musical, offering a unique opportunity to experience the writers of the last century as living individuals, rather than mere names in textbooks. The story unfolds within the House of Words in Kharkiv, where, in the early 20th century, Soviet authorities brutally eliminated hundreds of members of Ukraine's creative elite.
Through the film adaptation of this musical, the MUR team seeks to establish a new trend of recording theatrical performances, aiming to digitize and preserve Ukraine's intangible cultural heritage.
The musical features iconic Ukrainian figures, including Khvylovy, Sosyura, Ostap Vyshnya, Les Kurbas, Mykhailo Semenko, and Pavlo Tychyna.
