  • No, our founder is not Ukrainian and does not have family ties to Ukraine.
What resources do you have for Ukrainian displaced persons/refugees? How much money has been raised to date? How do I contact Bravery Foundation Where do I find recent updates?
  • We have a 'Blog & News' page we update frequently with press releases, new stories and blogs related to Ukrainians.
Can you issue tax receipts?
  • We are a CRA registered charity and issue tax receipts for initiatives that support our Constitutional Purposes.

    • To relieve poverty by providing necessities of life, including food, clean water, clothing, medical supplies, medicine, protective gear and/or shelter to victims of war in Ukraine.
    • To relieve poverty by providing necessities of life, including food, clean water, clothing, protective gear and/or shelter to needy immigrants and Ukrainian refugees and their families as well as offering financial assistance necessary for their relocation and settling in Canada and referring them to the appropriate resources, if necessary.
    • To relieve poverty by providing financial assistance, to be used for necessities of life, to poor families of volunteers who quit their jobs to travel to Ukraine to help victims of war.
    • To provide education, counseling and other support services to needy immigrants and Ukrainian refugees including job search programs, translation services, accompaniment and referral service during administrative procedures and information programs on Canadian culture and life in Canada.
How accountable are you to the government regarding donations?
  • As an Canadian registered charity, we provide annual reports to the CRA Charities Directorate.
How can I purchase medical supplies to be shipped to Ukraine?
  • We have a gift registry on Amazon, where you can directly purchase specific medical supplies.
  • On our website you can click on our 'Humanitarian Aid' fund and if you donate $10 or more you'll receive a Canadian tax deductible receipt.
How can I help Ukrainian displaced persons/refugees moving to Kelowna, BC?
  • Check out our "Kindness Offer" page, where you can offer displaced Ukrainians located in the Okanagan help.
  • You can donate on our 'Displaced Ukrainians' fund and received a Canadian tax deductible receipt is you donate $10 or more.
How can I get help if I am a Ukrainian displaced persons/refugee?
  • Click on our "Kindness Request" page, and we will do our best to help if you relocated to the Okanagan valley.
