- The Bravery Foundation is a Canadian CRA registered charity located in Kelowna, BC
- We provide humanitarian aid to Ukraine and support displaced Ukrainians, refugees, orphans and volunteers
WHO IS BONNIE PENNER
It's important those in my community know who I am. I value living a surrendered life, this however does not mean I'm always in a state of surrender. At the end of the day though, I will trust the process and surrender the outcome to be as Truth determines it to be.
I have no emotional equity in what I put my hand to, which means I do not have a need to control the direction things take. However, I do have a responsibility to drive towards and accomplish goals set before me. I recognize those who contribute to projects become personally attached to and invested in what's being built. I understand it’s natural for humans, myself included, to create expectations because of vested interest (time, money, energy). I also understand focusing on an expected outcome limits actualization of new realities whereas restricting expectations and trusting Truth opens doorways to amazing possibilities!

Who am I?
- I am a visionary leader who applies creative power to science based research to discover solutions for our world
- I am as logical as I am creative and move fluidly between the two opposing traits
- I am fiercely loyal and will go to great lengths to protect those I build relationship with
- I am kind, understanding, empathetic and forgiving, but equally honest, truthful and direct
- I am not one to take offense easily and I do my best to not personalize interactions with people or situations
- I am highly organized, disciplined and focused with an unusual level of tenacity
- I am a person of action and not reaction
- I am adaptable when problem solving but equally resolved and solid when it comes to standing with Truth
- I am the first to roll up my sleeves and apply hard work to achieve objectives
- I am not motivated by money, fame or position but recognize the value of these tools
What are my expectations?
- I expect people to be human due to the humanity we all suffer from
What I believe?
- I believe there is a higher power than myself and I need to respect this Truth without labeling or controlling It
- I believe people are valuable no matter who they are or what they feel defines them
- I believe people who value other humans are worth investing in and building relationship with
- I believe relationship building is a crucial component of accountability
- I believe inter-relation is what creates movement through difficulties so solutions can be found
- I believe problems ALWAYS come with a solution attached, they just might not be what one expects
- I believe answers to problems can often be found by working a problem backwards
- I believe both actions and words speak loudly and that you can’t have one without the other
- I believe a person's belief system determines their actions and their actions reveal their beliefs
- I believe goal setting and planning are crucial to success
What I Don't like?
- I DO NOT like to be told things aren't possible just because they've never been done before
What kind of contributors am I looking for in my projects?
- People who believe in action not reaction
- People who allow others the freedom to manage their areas of expertise
- People who are honest and demonstrate integrity
- People who are solution orientated
- People who are open, honest and direct
- People who are transparent and willing to be vulnerable due to their transparency
- People who forgive instead of judge
